What can you expect from this process?

Much of that depends on you. It depends on what you want to get out of this. If you are just calling to get a question answered or utilize me as a sounding board, then that’s what you’ll get.

But if you’re really seeking answers to the questions you have about your life, you will find those here too.

I can tell you that it won’t always be easy. Quite often there are times my clients run across a belief that they would rather not look at...or feel. What they learn is that their resistance to doing this is far worse than actually doing it. They also discover that it is far easier to do this with someone who knows how to help them work through their resistances...than to create the willpower on their own.

I am here for my clients to lean on...but I do not allow them to make me into a crutch. My role is to help people empower themselves and as such, I am not seeking to be someone’s “guru.” I am here to be a guide, a coach and a mentor.

You can expect that we will work together to create a PLAN and then we will work the plan. It's important that you know what areas you want to improve in your life. And I have a set of questions to ask you that will help you to easily identify those.

I have more questions that will help you to think about what you want to move towards in the way of pleasing experiences and what you want to move away from...in the form of pain that you no longer want to experience.

I will help you to understand why certain experiences pop up in your life again and again and again...and how to change that.

What I do promise is that if you do the work, your life WILL improve in countless ways...but most importantly...in the areas you most want to improve.

Spiritual Life Coaching:

R.M., Dallas, TX - after 15 hours

My journey up to this point has brought me to an improved level of peacefulness and a sense of being more “even-keeled”. Now when something happens, which used to bother me profusely, I don’t find myself dwelling in it for nearly as long.

I tend to use prayer more, literally within the instant I experience something I cannot fully control, because now I better recognize the power of surrendering to God and not feeling as though I must the one to control or solve the problem (in fact, it may not be “problem” to begin with – I would have more readily identified the same instance as a “problem” in the past) all by myself.

I don’t seem to be attracting as much of the negativity from those close to me that I used to experience in the past. I react more sympathetically and more positively to those who may be “acting out” because I feel more empathy now and perhaps am better at putting myself in their shoes to understand what it is that the are going through. But I’ve also concurrently learned not to necessarily own their negative feelings because we are each responsible for our own feelings and how we act them out. I blame myself less for having “created their pain”.

I will catch my self more quickly if I become frustrated with the kids because it is often more about me and what I “have to get done” rather than what they are doing/not doing. I will apologize to them for my unruly behavior and/or get down at their level and join in on their game. I have recognized that my children are gifts from God, also here to teach me what I need to heal, but certainly not at htheir expense. I am slowly learning patience and how to allow my self to have fun at a child-like level. It is not worth the stress and pain to lead the life of a stressed-out, worrying adult, so I have learned a lot from my children and others who know how to play.

I am getting better at living in the present moment, and not dwelling the past, and slowly getting better at not excessively anticipating my future.

I do recognize my successes for which I am abundantly grateful to God and to those who have fueled and guided me in this process, and I look forward to the continued journey in my Self-Mastery education. I know I have yet so much to learn, but I am encouraged by the results I’ve already experienced.

Working with Jeff is like working with a best friend.  He has this gentle yet firm energy about him.  Ying and Yang.  This was a very comforting feeling for me, knowing I was not only in the process of being 100% honest with myself but also with him.  I am admittedly a perfectionist or should a say my ego is, however speaking and learning with Jeff, I never felt the pressure to be anything other than what I was, or was feeling.  I never felt disappointment or judgment from him, just unconditional light and love.  That being said I also knew that he would not sugar coat anything for me, I came looking for the truth and with Jeff I knew spiritually, instinctively, I would get it.   His insightful questions and comments help direct me down the path to my own self-discovery.

"Never before have I encountered such a gentle, yet powerful teacher as Jeff.  Just when my ego was doing its best to tell me I couldn't do it, and I wasn't good enough, he expertly guided me back on track. His insight in to both coaching and teaching meant that he was able to balance helping me learn the nuances and subtleties of coaching, reading beneath the lines of what my practice clients were saying, while  coaching me at the same time!  He has been an inspiration to me as a coach, teacher, and human being."

I worked with Jeff to upgrade my coaching skills and what I found was an intelligent, sensitive, practical man full of goodwill and good ideas.  He always had my best interests at heart, that came through loud and clear.  I have used the philosophy and techniques that he taught me to greatly improve my coaching ability and I would recommend him to anyone serious about coaching.
